iliad literary-art magazine

Welcome to the iliad literary-art magazine tab!

Clarke Central High School’s iliad is an award-winning program that produces an annual literary-art magazine filled with a collection of student artwork and writing. We are a student-run program that works under the guidance of a faculty adviser.

As an open public forum, the iliad’s mission is to be a creative outlet for the CCHS student body, as well as 8th grade students from our feeder middle schools, Clarke Middle School and Burney-Harris-Lyons Middle School. Each year, we aim to give students a platform to express themselves through art, writing, photography, and more.

Our website is the place to read monthly newsletters from our team and learn about our award-winning program’s history. From our website, you can meet and contact our editorial board, view previous editions of the iliad, read about past events and awards, and read about featured artists from the CCHS community! If you would like to make a donation to our program, follow this link.

The iliad staff is composed of student volunteers led by an editorial board. The 2022 iliad editorial board consists of Editor-In-Chief Ollie Hendershot, Managing Editor Cate DeMaria, Outreach Director Niles Flath, Business Manager Sam Caspary Poucher, Visuals Coordinator Flannery Ragan, Social Media Coordinator Victoria Garland and Writing Director Margo McDaniel.  The iliad‘s faculty adviser is David A. Ragsdale.
